Love powers life

As Valentine's come n go, we can't forget how important is love. But for some, love is only restricted to finding Mr/Ms Right. If they can't find one, they conclude their life is love-less. But that isn't true. Love can exist everywhere. When we show care, smiles to others, that's love too. The love we get from parents, family, friends, neighbours, strangers... they're all love.

Christians believe that God is Love. The air we breathe, the sun, the rain, the food (delicious ones for most of us) n clean water, a roof over our head, transport system, school/college/a job... so much to be thankful of. There're others who don't have all these. Hey, that's love. But sometimes we block love from entering our hearts when we hold hatred towards others esp. those who'd wronged us and can't care less about our feelings, or thru jealousy, dissatisfaction, unable to accept the situation we're in, unable to accept loss (loved ones or job or breakups, etc). Let's get up n accept the situation n think how we can go on, things may never be the same again, but don't you believe that there're periods in life, sometimes really fantastic, but sometimes just monotonous... Are we able to have a great attitude only when things all go well? How abt when things go wrong? Do we have the endurance, perseverance to care for others (n ourselves) during bad times? How? Love? Love for others, care, compassion.... because we care, so we want to make a difference, want to help others, rescue them, relieve them.....

Yes, bad times can change us, but... for good or bad? It's down to our decision. But if we respond well, I believe with all my heart that we will be changed to be a more sensitive, loving, caring person who's sensitive to others' sufferings. Wow, a bigger heart, a gentle n caring soul...

I believe with all my heart that God, our Creator allows these bad times for this reason. I'd learned a lot from these experiences n also from others' experiences n thru reading the Bible. There're lessons in life, let's learn them, grow up, be mature, be a person with strong character, be a person who makes things happen...

I believe I can, and I believe you can too, because everyone (irregardless of background or race or nationalities or financial status, etc) is gifted and has potential. God is with me, and He's with you too. Let's live well! :)

Creating the adventure, choosing your path....

Greetings to all who're reading this, wishing that you will have many many blessings even as I'm hoping to pour some into your lives.... :)

Can't seem to calm down? Can't let go? Feeling naggy? Feeling chained though we live outside the jail and not in? Some call it emotional baggage. Some held by fear. Some guilt. Some unworthiness. Give me wings of eagles to fly high, higher than the highest trees, free as a bird, I wanna fly. Sound like a song? Let's sing this song, and break free from fear, guilt and unworthiness. All of us seek love, we hope for love, when we found it(or think we'd found it), we put faith in the person.

Know yourself, know your talents, your skills, your gifts, your interest.. Do not let your work or others restrict you from becoming all that you are. Seek people of the same mind, seek wise people, seek good people, for when we are with wise and good people, we will soon begin to be wise and not worried of becoming bad... Do something that you love to do, something that you can do with a smile on your face, with joy in your heart.... unstoppable joy. unspeakable happiness. Be good at what you love to do. Excel in it. You don't have to be the best, but it'll be alright as long as you do your best.

No man/woman is meant to be alone, don't be alone. Walk with someone, hold someone's hand and walk together. Because when one fall, the other can pick him/her up. Do not despair when you fall, but keep hoping for better things and pick yourself up. Cry you may, but not too long. Wear a smile at all times, in all types of situation. Never lose hope, never give up in doing good. Keep trying, though we may fall at times. Like a baby learning to walk, like how we used to, keep trying... you'll soon be running if you don't give up.... do not give up in doing good!

My first blog

It feels good to be writing a blog. An avenue of expression, an avenue of impression. With boldness, with openness, to reveal what's out and what's in, without intimidation. To be opened to stares of inspection through words, without fear of discrimination or judging by body language, appearance or status. Look at me, you won't see my eyes, but you will see a lot of me.

Life is marvellous. Full of ups and downs. It's about having the big picture of life. Preparing for the future means directing the direction and purpose of life upwards. But we need to be flexible. For we won't know what God has in store for us(what good God has in store for us is more appropriate) in life. In responding and learning of the consequence, we learn the meaning of life. His Holy Word reveals a lot to us. In times of inconvenience(small problems) or times of hardship(bigger problems), we learn, to be independent, and also how to depend on others(and how much we can depend on others). Life isn't easy. Staring at failures/defeats, we can only hope. If not, we're only letting those defeats eating into us, chewing us away, and if not stopped, it'll put us into depression. Some responded in anger. Some responded by getting drunk. Some just resigned to never to try. Never, never, never do these.... The path of successful people is to strive, to persevere, to think, to be wiser, to choose a better path, a win-win solution, giving everlasting peace and everlasting joy. My primary(elementary) school, La Salle, the motto is 'Strive with Perseverance'. How true, how true....

Through Jesus Christ, we can have direct access to God the Father. We can pray, humbly and earnestly seeking with all our hearts. In faith, believing without seeing. Faith based on His Holy Word. Faith borne from His Everlasting Love.

With hope, faith and love, we strive with perseverance. Sometimes we fell, we 'drop our cross'. But we got reminded of Jesus' heart during the times of His suffering before His crucifixion. The burning passion for mankind. What power, what depth, no wonder the film depicting Jesus Christ's final days leading to His crucifixion is called..... 'The Passion of Christ'.
